On our way to dry-in

One more day until dry-in. There are still three named storms in the Atlantic, but it looks like we made it with no major rain events.

Setting the trusses

We had the crane on the job at 7 am Wednesday morning.

Wall Framing

Walls are framed up and ready for trusses.

The 6" concrete curb was poured on Friday and will be ready for the framers to stand up the new walls Monday morning. You can see the way the Fl. room roof was demo'd to allow for a portion of the overhang to remain to maintain dry-in at finished areas. Keep your eye on this blog and watch as the framing starts Monday and the weather challenges will be dynamic and critical to a sucessful project.

Tired of a flat roof

Day 2 of construction and most of the overhang has been cut back and temporarily covered over with plywood. We also demo'd the Fl room walls and ceiling / roof and prepared to pour concrete.
